Memorial Day Weekend

Henry really wanted to pet the giraffe, but H didn't have any food, so the giraffe chose a different kid.

Testing the Bob without the car seat!

Checking out his mini garden

We had a very busy weekend! Kelsey came on Friday night. Saturday morning we headed to the Dallas Zoo. The new exhibit was very cool, but it was HOT! We had a picnic in the park on Sunday. Warren went on his first trail in the woods. We hung out with Owen on Sunday night and Henry went swimming at Leah's on Monday. Now back to the work week, thank goodness it is the last one before summer break!

Warren's hospital visit

He has two other small incisions like the one shown on his belly button.

Deja vu! Thursday Warren was very fussy and when he did not take his bottle, I knew something was wrong. We went to the pediatrician's office and she was thinking the same thing I was.....a hernia....? We went to Children's ER and the abdominal ultrasound revealed... a right inguinal hernia. After a lot of waiting, laying with his feet in the air, the surgeon was able to reduce the hernia, but Warren still earned a trip to the OR on Friday. Surgery was a success, they fixed bilateral hernias and an umbilical hernia as well. Warren staying one more night and we got to go home today. He is doing well, pretty happy, but taking some Tylenol. For those who do not remember, Henry was 5 weeks old when the exact same thing happened!

Warren 5 weeks

Warren a little happier before church. I couldn't find the matching tie!

Henry at 5 months.

We see a lot of this face around our house.....

Swim lessons

Henry just finished a month of swim lessons. We were able to go watch his last class, so here is a sample of what he did. He has improved so much over the month, he will now put his face in the water and is much more confident. He was very afraid last summer.

Just like daddy

Henry wants to be JUST like daddy. Today before church, they had to compare socks! Here you can see that Henry is being a big help with the lawn mower....checking out what daddy is doing, so he can copy with his screwdriver.
